It is striking to realize that we have already entered March and are preparing for the second teaching week of our new cohort. The pace of the program has been brisk yet highly productive, and we now look ahead to Session 2 of our current HTI class, scheduled for the third week of the month.
This upcoming session will focus on the Old Testament—one of the most academically rigorous and foundational components of our two‑year curriculum. We are grateful that Jesse Harris will be leading this course. Jesse has taught within HTI in previous years, but his return carries particular significance: since his last term with us, he has been commissioned as an IMB missionary to Spain. Despite the demands of cross‑cultural service, he has remained committed to investing in this cohort and to guiding them through this substantial and essential subject matter. His willingness to teach reflects a commendable level of dedication both to HTI and to the pastoral leaders being formed through the program.
We look forward to meeting with the students again and continuing to support their growth in biblical understanding, ministerial competence, and vocational clarity.
We invite you to join us in praying for the cohort as they engage in this intensive week of study—praying specifically for stamina, insight, and a deepening appreciation for the biblical text. We also ask for prayer on Jesse’s behalf as he prepares and teaches. We remain grateful for what is unfolding through HTI and for your ongoing partnership through prayer and support.
